Yvette Gonzalez

Director of Data Science

Yvette Gonzalez’s passion is in using data to make the world a better place.  When Hurricane Maria hit, Yvette used her abilities to wrangle and visualize data to develop technologies that enabled volunteers to communicate on the ground and map donations for swift and accurate delivery.  After spending 20 years in software engineering, Yvette answered the siren call of Big Data and earned a MS in Data Science from Northwestern in 2017. When she isn’t working you’ll find her cheering for her sons on the baseball diamond or basketball court…or cooking one of her Puerto Rican specialties in her kitchen, surrounded by her cat and her dog.
