As the daughter of two former High School English teachers, Elizabeth regularly helped “grade” papers growing up and developed a strong interest in semantics and syntax early on. With time, she came to view education as the great equalizer and has worked in the education sector ever since. Elizabeth has almost two decades of operations, implementation, and customer support experience across Huron Consulting Group, the Chicago Public Schools, Success Academy Charter Schools, and LightSail Education. Her Philosophy degree from Colgate University helps her to ponder deep issues and argue with conviction, while her MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business ensures that she has the data and business acumen to back it up. Elizabeth enjoys (re)reading the Classics, playing with her rescue hound, and exploring the city of Chicago when the weather permits.
