On Tuesday, October 2nd, Julian Ledesma of Cal Berkeley and Amy Sorter of Nuro Retention provided NACADA attendees with an update on their innovative Proactive Analytics project. Robust data advising tools are essential to impact improved student outcomes for Berkeley’s “historically marginalized students” (First Gen, low-income, adult learners, etc.) in their Centers for Educational Equity and Excellence (CE3). More than 13,000+ eligible students benefit from these services every year.  UCB’s partnership with Nuro Retention is helping them to achieve their program goals with analytics and technology.
